Our Purpose

The Northside church of Christ is a group of believers in Christ striving to work and worship together as a New Testament local church. We strive to provide an environment in which Christians can grow into the image of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:16).

Also, we work together in spreading the Gospel of Christ to our friends, family, and neighbors. We pray and work so that they, too, may receive the forgiveness of sins and the hope of eternal life (Acts 2:38-42).

To have forgiveness of sins, one must hear the Gospel message, believe in Jesus Christ, confess Him as Lord, repent of your sins and  be baptized into Christ's church (Acts 2:37-47) At that point they are added to the church and saved. However one must also continue to faithful to God and His word for the rest of our life (Rev. 2:10)

Our goal, aim, and purpose therefore is to duplicate genuine New Testament Christianity both in individual as well as congregational life. The Northside church of Christ is committed to following the pattern God left for His people in the pages of the New Testament. Only through the word of God can the man of God be complete and prepared for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17. 1 Peter 4:11,
